About AcousticArt and Design
AcousticArt and Design was founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mary Brunton. Mary is a photographic artist with a 10 year background in the graphic design industry. Her partner Fred is a serious hi-fi enthusiast with 15 years in the hi-tech digital printing business.
“After a move to a new home we discovered the room acoustics were affecting the listening pleasure of our ever evolving hifi system.” After much blanket hanging and threats from Fred about hanging heavy curtains, Mary started working on a solution that improved acoustics but did not compromise
interior design.
Acoustic art is a result of intense product experimentation and research that satisfies an age-old conflict between the audiofile and homemaker (otherwise know as WAF 1 - Artworks that improve room acoustics.
“Our aim is to create excellent room acoustics without compromising the aesthetics, design and look of the room. We want to compliment, not conflict with your business or home décor.”
